ASAP, the environmental stewardship pilot aims to provide a platform for international and cross-cultural collaboration where global actors, local communities and young people can contribute to a faith-based response to the climate change agenda.
The three aims of the partnership are:
  • To establish a premise to reduce the carbon footprint of a national faith-based organisation
  • To explore international environmental stewardship twinning opportunities
  • To create awareness raising, engagement and connection around the topic of faith-based environmental stewardship

The three action steps of the partnership are:

  • To bring together experts in climate change, development and humanitarian practitioners, alongside educators, decision makers, faith-based organisations (FBOs), civil society organisations (CSOs), community leaders and young people from the global South and North
  • To explore practical solutions around the role of FBOs in environmental stewardship
  • To elevate ideas and promote solutions for a more sustainable planet
